Base Camp Introductory Evening

About the Event

BASECAMP is the foundation training for the year long Journey of no Distance program.

Meditation is a subtle and often misunderstood art. Basecamp is a 2 day program to establish the practice of meditation on a foundation that has acceptance by the mind. Meditation firstly bring us to meet the activity of the mind and the process of our Ego. EGO is that self of self that is separate from everything. To know thought feeling emotion we have to be awareness. The awareness by which we know all experience does not change. It matters not whether we are happy or sad the awareness by which we know any experience is always the same.

Basecamp cuts through false notions and expectation to deliver a workable pathway that illuminates the nature of the inner landscape and establishes a pathway through the endless activity of the mind to experience silent peaceful awareness.

This experience releases presence and putpose in our individual and work life

You will leave the course knowing: What do we do, what we do not do, why do we meditate,  how we approach the practice, what can we expect from our practice, what should we not look for in our practice,  what are the bear traps to avoid. In the group process, we will share experiences to widen and deepen our understanding quickly.

  • Individual

The evening will begin at 8.00pm Austrian and the waiting room will be open 15 minutes before and you will be admitted shortly before the start time.
