Our world will change when we change
When I was 12, in response to an inner call, I sat on my bedroom floor to meditate
not knowing I had stepped on a timeless pathway of awakening
that lies dormant in us all
It illuminates itself to guide us in ways that are profoundly personal
beyond the thoughts, feelings, fears, ambitions, desires
that constitute identity of who we think we are.
In 1987 a physical structure I named the Reciprocal Frame
arose on my path and leapt into my awareness.
introducing itself as wisdom in structural form
it brought me to the boundary of identity
where resides a transparency of mind
in which I sense a presence
Over time I recognised
that we are not
the activity or content of mind
we are awareness
by which and within which
the experiences of mind are perceived
In knowing ourselves as that
there is what we call
peace, happiness,
beauty and freedom.​

Since 1987 I have also designed and constructed some
40+ Reciprocal Frame buildings and structures.
Each one an embodiment of that silent wisdom.
I call these Peacebuildings
My work is a weaving
of these inner and outer worlds.
Outer action & Inner transformation
and I now offer pathways in both.
THE RECIPROCAL FRAME
The Reciprocal Frame
where form and formlessness interweave.
Formlessness
Formlessness is an absence of form.
Absence permeates all life,
and bestows awareness,
to the perception of life and form.
Form
We identify with our perception of the world of form.
That identification tells us we exist.
Its solid .We can see it, hear it, touch it, taste it, smell it
and our mind thinks it can understand it.

Rarely does a form clearly invite us to that which
we cannot see or hear, or touch, or taste, or smell.
To that which is beyond the capacity of the mind to understand.
​
The beams of the Reciprocal Frame form a vortex,
which invites us to experience the centre-less absence.
​
The Reciprocal Frame embeds that invitation in buildings.
​
Reunion with that experience bestows peace and happiness to the heart and mind.

The Peacebuildings Yurt is a traveling epicenter of change.
At this time I am moved to take it on a Journey of Peace particularly to countries surrounding Russia and the Ukraine but also Europe and the UK. I am crowdfunding to pay for the Yurt, the trailer to transport it and a vehicle to haul it, with all the associated travel and accommodation expenses.

We must first unearth those qualities in ourselves
Are we the ones
who are willing to change ourselves
so that life on earth can change for all.
Peacebuildings are epicenters of such change

It is the name of my commercial studio in honour of its origin.

In the years since 1987 I have designed and made 45 or so Reciprocal Frame buildings.
From small garden offices and meditation sanctuaries
to radical ecological homes and million pound Woodland Burial Park complexes.
​
I accept commissions to design Reciprocal Frame buildings and offer consultative constructional assistance.

I offer courses on all aspects of Reciprocal Frame design and construction

when we never left?
